Qualifications

Dr Behrooz Sahami, is a swedish trained dentist who qualified in Gothenburg 1989. Before moving to England to work in 1999, he worked in Stockholm city centre, Sweden, where he concentrated on general dentistry and preventative dentistry.

During his years here in England he developed an interest in how dentistry is managed by people. He noticed that many patient were not used to discussing their treatment with their dentist, nor were they always given he opportunity to understand their treatment.

Dr Sahami has always been interested in why people avoid going to the dentist - for many years in some cases. He has been studying the work of a practice in Sweden that specializes in treating patients with dental phobia; and is now keen to work with such patients at his own Practice, as he believes that he has found a way to help them.

Dr Sahami also became qualified, in Manchester, to provide implant treatment and has successfully completed several other courses in dental treatment over the years.
